This may be a little over-dramatic, but fine then. If that’s how you’re going to be, I’m going to let you be that way. I won’t pretend I’m not upset about it, but fuck. I can’t change you back. That’s just how it is.

Everyone keeps looking at me and saying “You can do better than this.” It should be encouraging, but it just feels condescending. The truth is that I really don’t think I can, and every time it happens, it makes me feel just a little less worthy of this life.
